Anne Boleyn was the reason for why Catherine of Aragon was divorced. She became pregnant from an affair with Henry and there was possibility the child could still be legitimate if she was married to him at the time of birth. Henry VIII’s desperation for an heir can be seen through the actions he took to get an annulment for this.

Jane Seymour (1536 - 1537)

Henry met Jane Seymour was a lady-in-waiting for Anne Boleyn. She managed to provide Henry a son but died due to giving birth (childbed fever).
